Adobe CLP Announcement
The University has recently concluded a Contractual Licensing Program (CLP) agreement with Adobe which
will afford significant savings to the University on all Adobe software products.** Our authorized
Adobe reseller is SchoolWorld (Logisoft). All orders must be processed through
SchoolWorld to receive CLP
pricing.
**The CLP contract is available for University offices only and does not include personal or
student purchases.
You pay only for what you need!
Licenses – In most cases, this will be all you need. The Educational and Information
Technology Division (EIT) will have most of the media available for installation by EIT’s Desktop
Support staff. Once you have placed your order with
SchoolWorld, call the Service Request Line at
extension 3644 (or send an e-mail to request installation. Confirmation of your purchase will
automatically be sent to EIT.
Software maintenance entitles you to upgrades on products for a nominal cost and must
be purchased prior to the announcement of a new version of the software. All legacy products may be
grandfathered in during the first six months of the contract. At the end of this period, maintenance
decreases to 18-months, 12-months, and, finally, six-months.
Media – As noted above, EIT will have most media available to its Desktop Support staff.
Since the contract stipulates that no copies be made of the media, you must order a copy of the media
if your department needs to have its own copy available. However, please be sure that the software is
installed ONLY after purchase of the appropriate software licenses.
Documentation sets may be purchased, if needed, for all software titles.
To facilitate ordering, SchoolWorld has developed a web site dedicated to The University of Toledo’s Adobe CLP
program. Log-in access will be restricted. A
list of authorized UT purchasers is already in place
on the website. If you feel you need access to
place orders, please have your Business Manager
forward your name to John Pryzbylek of Educational and Information Technology, who is
the University’s Adobe CLP contract manager.
